Casa Grecque Contest

Visit any of the 31 Casa Grecque restaurants, from January 9 to February 5 2012, and pick up your Casa Grecque passport to enter the “Discover the flavours of the Mediterranean” contest. Get a chance to win by ordering any main course. It’s simple; fill out a ballot in your passport, detach it, get it stamped and deposit it in the contest box. 1. Eligibility and Conditions

The ‘Discover the Flavours of the Mediterranean’ contest is only open to Casa Grecque restaurant patrons. The only way to participate is by ordering a main course in one of Quebec’s 31 Casa Grecque restaurants.
To be eligible, contestants must be 18 years of age or older and be residents of the Province of Quebec. Chances of winning will depend on the total number of entries.
Contestants may enter more than once, obtaining one entry for every main course they order in one of the Casa Grecque restaurants. They must complete an entry ballot, have it stamped, together with their passport, and deposit it in the ballot box. The more dishes ordered at Casa Grecque restaurants increases one’s chances of winning.
One stamp will be allowed per passport, per person, for every main course ordered. In order to be eligible, entry ballots must obligatorily be stamped by a Casa Grecque employee.
Entry ballots must include the following information: contestant’s name, email address, postal code, date of birth (month and year), and telephone number. All obligatory fields must be filled in.

2. How to Enter

To enter the ‘Discover the Flavours of the Mediterranean’ contest and be eligible to win the prize offered, contestants must dine in one of the Casa Grecque restaurants between January 9 and February 5, 2012. A passport, containing the entry ballots, will be available in the Casa Grecque restaurants. In order for an entry ballot to be eligible, all five (5) fields on the ballot must be filled in and the ballot must be stamped by a Casa Grecque employee.

3. Contest Dates

The contest starts on January 9 and closes on February 5, 2012 at 11:59pm, Eastern Time.

4. Prize Awarding

The winner will be notified by telephone. Should the potential winner be unable to be reached by telephone and/or email within five (5) business days of the draw, another draw will be conducted to determine a new potential winner.

* Description of Prize:

A 10-night cruise for two (2) on the Mediterranean.
The approximate prize value is $8,000.
The trip is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be exchanged for credit, in part or in whole.
Air transportation will be provided by the airline available upon on-line reservation at TravelAgency.ca.
The trip itinerary is the Royal Caribbean International’s Western Mediterranean/Adriatic Coast cruise and includes the following ports of call with sample itinerary below:

An economy class flight from Montreal to Venice, Italy
Day 1 – Departure from Venice at 5 pm
Day 2 – Arrival in Split, Croatia at 7:30 am, departure from Split at 4 pm
Day 3 – Arrival in Corfu, Greece at 10 am, departure from Corfu at 6 pm
Day 4 – Cruising
Day 5 – Arrival in Chania, Crete in Greece at 7 am, departure from Chania at 6 pm
Day 6 – Arrival in Athens, Greece at 6 am, departure from Athens at 5 pm
Day 7 – Arrival in Mykonos, Greece at 7 am, departure from Mykonos at 7 pm
Day 8 – Arrival in Santorini, Greece at 7 am, departure from Santorini at 5 pm
Day 9 – Arrival in Katakolon, Greece at 9 am, departure from Katakolon at 5 pm
Day 10 – Cruising
Day 11 – Arrival in Venice, Italy at 6:45 am
Economy class flight from Venice to Montreal.

The itinerary is subject to change according to trip dates, chosen cruise ship, and availabilities aboard the chosen ship without notice.
The room aboard the ship includes two twin beds (which may be converted into queen-size), a sitting area with sofa, vanity area and private bathroom. Cabin category is ‘Large Oceanview Stateroom’.
Meals are included.
The trip may be taken between February 28, 2012 and October 15, 2012. Travel must be completed before October 15, 2012.
Flight and cruise reservations must obligatorily be made by the winner through TravelAgency.ca before March 15, 2012. Casa Grecque will forward the name of the winner in writing to TravelAgency.ca.
Royal Caribbean International rules and regulations regarding age and travel documents must be respected.
Cost and fees for passports, tourist cards, visas, and vaccination certificates (if required) are not included.
Cost of excess baggage fees, travel insurance, and transfers between home and airport are not included.
All excursions, personal expenses, gratuities, and alcoholic beverages are not included and are the winner’s responsibility.

5. Drawing

The winning ballot will be randomly drawn on February 16, 2012 at 11:30 am in the Casa Grecque restaurant located in St-Bruno, by Anouk Meunier, weather girl for TVA‘s ‘Salut, Bonjour!’.

6. Notification of Prize Winner

The draw will be filmed and broadcast on TVA starting February 20, 2012. The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email between the time of the draw and its broadcast on TVA.

7. Prize Claim

The prize will be sent to the winner by mail before February 28, 2012.

8. Persons Excluded from Contest

Casa Grecque owners, their employees, representatives, agents, as well as immediate family (father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, spouse) including the people living in the same residence are not eligible to participate in this contest.

9. General Conditions

Any disagreement regarding the conduct or organization of this publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any difference regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
By entering this contest, the contestant agrees to abide by these rules and regulations. All decisions will be final.

10. Skill-Testing Question

The contest winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to obtain the prize.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

By participating in the contest, contestants release Casa Grecque from any and all liability arising in connection with their participation in the contest or during the trip related to the Contest Prize, including any request for compensation for direct, indirect, related, incidental, consequential or other damages of any kind, including any debt, costs and expenses (losses) incurred, and agree not to take legal action of any kind against Casa Grecque related to these issues.

12. Consent to Use of Personality

In claiming the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, image, voice, photo, and name of their city of residence for publicity purposes in all media without financial compensation.
